Ministry to the Military Event Pictures
Welcome to the Ministry to the Military Photo Gallery.
The old saying "a picture is worth a million words" is so true, and we would like to be able to share with everyone what God is doing in the Ministry to the Military around the world.
As Ministry to the Military events happen, we will endeavor to gather pictures to share on this site.
We are asking everyone that attends a MTTM event to please send us your personal pictures to the link provided below. We will try to post them so that everyone can view them.
Click on the sub-titles under Photo Page on the left navigation bar for more event pictures.
Please click on this link to email your photos to be added to the MTTM photo page.
Clarkview Christian Center Eye Clinic - March 2007
God is good all the time
When we started our Eye Mission program in 1996 little did we know that our partnership with Dr. James Co Shu Ming, an Ophthalmologist (diplomate), will last a decade. Through those years we were able to serve 610 patients with Cataract and Pterydium. Also, I witnessed how God used this ministry to give hope and a future to elderly who were blind because of Cataract.
One of our patient named Jose was earning his living as a Bus driver before he went blind because of Cataract. Without a job to support his family, he felt depressed and he contemplated committing suicide last December. He prepared the pole and the rope he will use to end his miserable life. But it was at this point that his sister, a staff at the Philippine Air Force hospital, visited him and convinced him to avail of our “Eye Mission” program. Our doctor decided to remove his cataract on both eyes last February 28 during our “Eye Mission”. On that day, there were 36 elderly people operated with Cataract and 12 with Pterydium.
I saw Jose the other day, during their “follow-up” check up, together with his family and he was beaming with joy. He was bragging to me that he is now looking for a job to support his family. He was so grateful to God that during our bible Study in PAF Hospital, he willingly gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We tentatively set out next “Eye Mission” this coming August. I believe God will provide funds for this project...He always does!
