What is Ministry to the Military?
The Church of God recognizes the persons involved with the armed forces as being worthy of the ministry of the church of Jesus Christ. These individuals are often taken out of reach of the traditional ministries of evangelism, discipleship and support provided by the Church of God in the U.S.A. Why Have Minisry to the Military?
During the last 30 years, over 200 Church of God ministers and their families have endured the sacrifices of the mission field to reach our military men and women stationed overseas. What great purpose could inspire the dedication of those military missionaries? And is it really a worthy request for the Ministry to the Military Department to call upon our churches across the nation to sponsor a day of fasting and prayer for our sons and daughters in uniform?
